Our joiner arrived this morning to do the job we require this hardware for, so when DHL delivered the items about 1/2 hour ago it was 'just in time!'

Thanks for your caring and professional approach when expediting this small order - it is reminiscent of the level of service people accepted as the norm in the 50's and 60's - before the advent of Wickes/B&Q sheds.

Naturally I will leave positive feedback immediately, and have no hesitation in returning to your shop as and when I need hardware.

Incidentally, my joiner bought some 15'' T hinges for another job from his local specialist ironmonger. They charged twice as much as you for the same item, and the gauge of metal was lighter. Needless to say he will be buying from you in the future!

We would just like to say how impressed we are with the quality of the latches and hinges. They really do appear to be genuinely reclaimed fittings, unlike those available elsewhere which are very poor imitations of the real thing in comparison. They will be absolutely perfect in making the doors on our new extension look like original old ones. Your service is superb - ordered on Sunday evening, confirmation of despatch received on Monday morning and delivered on Tuesday morning - and you refunded some of the postal charges to boot. We would not hesitate in recommending you.

I ordered a set of six Nickel beehive door handles from Green Lane Hardware. I was extremely pleased with the quality and weight of the handles. They were packaged and delivered with great care. I was so pleased with the product that I ordered more a few months later. The price is also very good value for money and considerably cheaper than other outlets. I will gladly send some pictures in a couple of weeks when I have finished making the Oak ledged doors, which you will be free to utilize however you so desire.

Having worked in a service industry for many years, I am particular about the decline in service standards in the UK. Green Lane Hardware have been a pleasure to deal with and restored my faith that there is still great customer service about! In fact, I received a better service on my small initial order value for a single Suffolk latch (around £15) from Green Lane, than I did from my kitchen supplier with whom I spent £23,000!

I would of course without hesitation recommend your company to anyone. In the meantime I will set to work attempting to convince my wife that we need these Oak doors throughout our property...so watch out I may well be back soon

Goods have just arrived extremely well packed and are just what we wanted. Even my wife who has recently endured a 3 hour meeting with the Italian Architect and Geometra discussing drainage and septic tanks showed a slight interest when I opened the package. They got her 'seal of approval' and she even thought, given what they are, i.e. hand forged, they compared favourably in price to standard door furniture you get from places like B&Q.

Anyway they should look great with the oak ledge and brace doors and are in keeping with the rustic nature of farmhouse.

I may bore you with one or two pictures once these are fitted although it looks like it will be March before I get round to making/fitting any doors.

I will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone I may come across who is also doing renovation work and may wish to go for the 'rustic' look. Good old fashioned service - great product and great prices. Thanks again.
